To Whom formed after vocalist and writer Nick Chahwala was introduced to instrumentalist Charles Malone and drummer/percussionist Alex Selph.

The three came together for the first time in the studio to collaborate on the three song demo "Neo-mus-e-cal." By the time production was finished, the group was excited with the realization that they each shared a similar vision for writing and recording. They had created a sound that was both musically diverse and embraced by audiences everywhere. To Whom continued to gain momentum while lighting up the stage with their highly energetic performances at Lollapalooza, Music Midtown, Downtown Rocks, and many other national festivals. While exposing their music to continued crowds and new fans, To Whom went on to score first place in the Coors Light Battle of the Bands, Miller Light Band Search, and other contests allowing them to receive instant national recognition. After a whirlwind of performances with world renown artists such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Ludacris, The Roots, N.E.R.D., Hoobastank and an intense marketing/promoting blitz, To Whom opted to take time off and undertake the enormous task of writing, producing, and self recording their first full length album titled "This is a White Rabbit." The project proved to be a grueling challenge but the results are the groups finest work to date. To Whom manages to fuse their rock backgrounds with so many other world sounds such as jazz, experimental, funk, and even latin. Listeners will immediately notice their careful attention to song structure and orchestration. Their obsession with music combined with a relentless commitment to contribute originality, poise, strength, and respect to their craft ensures To Whom's appeal to any listener.
